MWASI Foundation is a nonprofit advancing economic opportunity for underserved women and girls through education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship. Our current focus is equipping women with the knowledge, financial confidence, and business skills to turn their gifts and ideas into income.
Every Woman Carries a Gift the World Is Waiting For
We have sat with women who had real talent, ideas, and drive, but no access to practical financial education, business support, or a clear path to earning an income. We have watched girls leave school because no one opened the door. That is the gap MWASI exists to close.
Our programs are built in stages, so women and girls gain the knowledge, skills, and community to move from potential to purpose, income, and lasting impact.

Education
Financial transformation for women. We begin with free virtual workshops. A private community and six-week cohorts follow.

$HIFT
$HIFT sees the whole woman, not just her bank account. Most financial programs start with strategy. $HIFT works at three layers, in order:
- Free for participants
- Virtual workshops, open to women wherever they live
- Strategy sessions led by qualified financial professionals and partner institutions
- Coming next: a private community and six-week cohorts
Every Purchase Funds the Mission
NEESSA is the MWASI marketplace. It raises funds for our programs today and is designed to become a sales channel for women entrepreneurs.
Products Fund Programs
We are launching with natural body care, including shea butter, cocoa butter, and black soap. Proceeds support MWASI programs.
Women Entrepreneurs Join
Women in the HATCH incubator will be able to list and sell their own products in the marketplace.
A Physical Storefront
Over time, NEESSA will grow from online sales into a physical retail space.
Built on Years of Showing Up
Our work began in 2018 under the name Talents Within and continues today as MWASI Foundation, Inc.
Talents Within begins, to connect talented, under-resourced women with access and opportunity.
The She Deserves It campaign sponsors 20 women entrepreneurs to exhibit their products at a trade exhibition.
Salon Women Impact Twenty: a two-day exhibition for 20 women entrepreneurs, with free workshops on branding, sales, and business development.
MWASI Foundation, Inc. is formed and recognized as a 501(c)(3). Its first campaign, First Class, raises funds for girls’ education.
